The blog is an add-on rather than one of your five core pages, since it's ongoing work rather than a one-off build.
Questions about pricing
Why is there a twelve month minimum?
Because the build happens at the start while the payments arrive over time. A site that takes a fortnight to make isn't covered by one or two months of subscription, and the twelve months is what makes it possible to charge no deposit at all.
After the first twelve months, your plan continues month to month. You can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days' written notice. If a payment isn't made, or that notice isn't given, your website will be taken offline.
How do I cancel?
Once you're past the twelve month minimum, just let us know in writing and give 30 days' notice. There's no form to fill in or retention call to sit through. Your site stays live for that 30-day period and comes down once it ends.
Do I need to pay before my site goes live?
No. Nothing is actually charged until your website is live. Before we start building, you'll need to accept our terms and register your payment details with our payment provider — that's a registration step, not a charge.
It's what lets us begin work confidently without asking for money up front: once you've registered, we know the build is genuinely going ahead, and you know nothing comes out of your account until there's a finished site to show for it.
What counts as a "small change"?
Editing existing text, updating opening hours or contact details, swapping a photo, or a similar tweak taking up to 15 minutes. You get up to three of these a month included.
Building a new page, adding a feature, or a larger redesign is separate work and we'll always quote and confirm it with you before starting.
Do I own the website and the domain?
The website itself is provided as part of your subscription, which is what allows there to be no upfront cost. If you leave, the site comes down.
Your domain name is different. It's registered in a way that means it becomes yours to keep if you leave, once any costs we've covered on your behalf are settled. There's a small £15 administration fee to release it, covering the time a transfer takes.
