Can I phone you?
We work by email rather than by phone, and that's deliberate. It means requests are written down, nothing gets lost, and you get a proper, considered answer. We reply within one hour during open hours, so it doesn't feel like waiting on hold.
How quickly will my site be live?
One to two weeks from receiving your content, provided everything's ready on your side. The part that usually causes delay is content, so if your photos and words are ready, we're quick.
How many revisions do I get?
Up to two rounds of revisions on the initial build, so there's room to adjust anything that isn't quite right before it goes live. Further changes beyond that are treated as additional work and quoted separately.
Once the site is live, the small changes included in your plan are separate from this and work differently — see the pricing page for how those are counted.
Do you use Wix, Squarespace or Shopify?
We don't use Wix or Squarespace, and we don't build Shopify stores or mobile apps.
Do you only work with businesses in a specific area?
No, we work with small businesses across the UK. Everything runs by email regardless of where you're based, so distance doesn't change how a project runs.
What if I want an online shop or booking system?
Both are available as add-ons. Online payments are built with WooCommerce, and booking systems are set up using an established third-party tool wired into your site and styled to match, rather than something built from scratch. See pricing for how these are quoted.
Can you take over a website somebody else built?
Not as a takeover — we rebuild it completely as part of your plan, rather than trying to patch or maintain someone else's code. That keeps things consistent and means we can actually stand behind what we've built.
If there are things about your current site you like, send them over and we'll take inspiration from those design features. If you own the site outright, we can also recreate it closely, so you keep the look you're used to while everything underneath is rebuilt properly.
Do you write the content for me?
The core plan covers building the site around content you provide. If you'd rather not write it yourself, ongoing content and SEO writing is available as an add-on — see the pricing page for the blog add-on if you want regular posts written from your notes.
What happens if I stop paying?
We'll get in touch if a payment fails rather than taking the site down immediately. If it stays unpaid, the site is eventually suspended. Your domain remains yours regardless, under the same terms as if you'd cancelled normally.
